About the No. 07 Camaro: The 07 team will enter the fourth and final road course race of the season after finishing in the 18th position last weekend at Richmond Raceway. Crew Chief Jason Miller will select chassis 705 for competition this weekend, which is the same chassis the team has used for all three road course races. Black’s best road course finish of the year came at Road America, where he piloted his No. 07 Chevy to a 14th- place finish. This will be Black’s second career Xfinity Series start at the Charlotte Roval. Black finished in the 26th position last year at the track’s inaugural race.
About the No. 08 Camaro: After a 22nd place finish last weekend at Richmond Raceway, the 08 team will look to rebound in the final road course race of the year at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval. Crew Chief Patrick Donahue will select chassis 720 for competition this weekend, which is the same chassis used in all three previous road course races this season. Gaulding’s best road course finish this season came at Mid-Ohio, where he finished in the 14th position. Gaulding also had a strong run at Watkins Glen, finishing in the 15th position. This weekend will mark Gaulding’s Charlotte Roval debut.
TV/Radio: The Drive For the Cure 250 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval can be seen live on Saturday, September 28th on NBCSN. Race coverage will begin at 3:30 p.m. EST, and the event can also be heard live on PRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Radio, channel 90.
