- Attacking the ROVAL: Following their seventh victory of the 2019 season last week at Richmond, Christopher Bell and the No. 20 Rheem team return to the track on Saturday afternoon for the Drive for the Cure 250 and their second visit to the ROVAL at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Bell qualified 13th last year at the ROVAL, ran in the top five for a majority of the race, won stage 2, led for five laps and ultimately crossed the finish line fifth.
- Road Course Star: The ROVAL will be the fourth and final road course race in 2019 for the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS). Bell has been showcasing some road course racing skills in the three previous races, kicking off Watkins Glen and Mid-Ohio with back-to-back second-place finishes then following up that by claiming his first career road course victory at Road America.
- Richmond Recap: The NXS took to the track on Friday night at Richmond Raceway for the first race of the 2019 Playoffs. Bell qualified fourth, but wasted no time taking over the lead and pacing the field around the 0.75-mile track. Bell led a career-high 238 of the 250 laps raced and took home the win Friday evening at Richmond. The win was his seventh of 2019 and advances Bell and his team into the next round of the Playoffs.
- 2019 Playoffs: Bell locked himself into the “Round of 8” in the 2019 NASCAR NXS Playoffs with his victory at Richmond Raceway. Bell is currently the NXS points leader by 22 points over second.
- Joe Gibbs Racing at the ROVAL: JGR has three NXS starts at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL and has earned two top-five and two top-10 finishes. The championship-winning organization has an average start of 15.0 an average finish of 10.3.
- RACE INFO: The Drive for the Cure 250 at The ROVAL at Charlotte Motor Speedway begins at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, September 28, 2019. The race will be broadcast live on NBCSN, Sirius XM 90, and PRN Radio.
