“Richmond Raceway is one of my favorite race tracks and I always enjoy running here, but we just struggled tonight. We did everything we could do to work on the balance of this Caterpillar Camaro ZL1, but with a lack of cautions in the first half of the race, we didn’t have enough time early to keep ourselves in a good position. We lost too much ground early on to make it up in the final stage. Even though we got behind a bit, we slowly but surely made adjustments throughout the race to help the overall balance and help us minimize what we had going on. In the end, we lost too much early to be a competitive race car. We’ll get back to work and focus on how to get our package better at these types of tracks.” -Daniel Hemric
