BRET HOLMES QUOTE:“I wish we could have done a little better at Michigan (International Speedway) but overall, I’m really happy with the result. This is the best finish we’ve had since 2016. That’s a victory in itself. I know we’re capable of running in the top three every week. We’re consistent and getting better every race. My confidence has grown a lot over the course of the season so far. Our team is working hard and always trying to improve our performance. We’ve put together a good stretch of races, and I hope that we can keep that going through the rest of the season. We struggled being tight in the race but despite that, had a strong enough car to bring it home third. Our strategy played out well. Shane (Huffman, crew chief) and the guys did a great job. I’m proud of them for this weekend and where we are headed. We just have to keep it up, and we’ll be just fine.”
