On Thursday night Auto-Wares hosted the first ever South Metro CSC Council Meeting at Kalitta Motorsports’ Ypsilanti, Michigan headquarters. The group enjoyed an informative presentation from Kalitta sponsor Wix Filters and discussed forming a South Metro Regional Certified Service Center Council.
“This was a great event to get these local automotive business people together to see our shop as well as discuss the South Metro CSC Council,” said Bob Lawson, Team Kalitta Business Manager. “We are proud to represent all our sponsors and it was nice to be able to afford Wix the chance to talk with this group. We appreciate Auto-Wares utilizing our headquarters for this unique event.”
The evening started with a guided shop tour of the 50,000 square foot facility followed by dinner and a networking opportunity. The event program included a presentation on “How you drive” for the group by Wix Filters representative Keith Underwood including info on Wix Filter recommendations and the Wix Training Institute.
At the conclusion of the event there was also an informative discussion on forming a new CSC council with the local business leaders. Chris Duvall and WIX Filters provide three lucky winners with tickets to the upcoming NHRA race in Chicago, May 31 – June 2 at Route 66 Raceway, where they will also receive access to the Kalitta Motorsports VIP Hospitality area.
