Transportation Impact Builds on Long-Standing Partnership with Richard Petty Motorsports

Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) announced today that Transportation Impact (TI) is continuing its relationship with the organization in 2019.

Richard Petty Motorsports and Transportation Impact will renew their fourth season together with the company reaffirming its commitment with the primary partnership of the No. 43 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 driven by Darrell “Bubba” Wallace Jr. in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube at the Las Vegas (Nev.)

Motor Speedway. “The parcel industry is one of the fastest changing areas of logistics,” Wallace said. “Transportation Impact is delivering rapid growth to North Carolina, and one of America’s fastest-growing private companies which aligns perfectly with our fast Richard Petty Motorsports No. 43 Transportation Impact Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 this weekend at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.” As an established partnership since 2015, the association with Transportation Impact has developed into a strong connection that goes beyond business.

Headquartered in Emerald Isle, N.C., Transportation Impact is a parcel spend management firm and is one of the fastest-growing companies in North Carolina. Founded in 2008, it has experienced robust growth by helping high-volume parcel shippers reduce cost through innovative audit and negotiation services. These services and the company’s industry-leading technology have enabled businesses large and small to identify and obtain huge cost savings that they can then use to fund new initiatives, retain employees, or hire new ones.

“Richard Petty Motorsports is one of the most respected brands in racing, and we are very proud to sponsor the No. 43 Transportation Impact Chevrolet Camaro ZL1,” co-founders Keith Byrd and Travis Burt said. “As business owners, we strive for our company to be the best without sacrificing integrity, and the Richard Petty Motorsports team operates on the same principle. We have an amazing relationship with the Petty family and love to be part of NASCAR with them.”

The Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube will be broadcast live on FOX and FOX Sports GO on Sunday, March 3 at 3:30 p.m. (ET). It will also broadcast live at 2:30 p.m. (ET) on the Performance Racing Network (PRN) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Qualifying for the third event of the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) schedule will air on Friday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. (ET) on FS1 and FOX Sports GO.
