Following Hailie Deegan’s historic 2018 rookie season in which she became the first female race and pole winner in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, the 17-year-old Temecula, California-native is set to return to Bill McAnally Racing (BMR) for 2019.
Deegan, a Toyota Racing development driver and NASCAR Next alumna, will pilot the No. 19 Monster Energy / NAPA Power Premium Plus Toyota Camry full-time in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West as well as select East races. Deegan finished fifth in the NASCAR K&N West championship standings last season – earning one win, two poles, five top-five and 12 top-10 finishes in 14 starts. She was recently named to Forbes’ list of “Women in Sports to Watch In 2019.”
“It was special to be part of Hailie’s historic season last year as she broke so many barriers in racing and set so many records in NASCAR,” said BMR President Bill McAnally. “We look to help her build on that success this year and become the first woman to win the series championship.”
Deegan has her eyes set on a championship in 2019 and is ready to build off a successful rookie campaign where she also became the first woman to win the Sunoco Rookie of the Year Award in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series.
“We accomplished a lot in 2018 but we’re just scratching the surface of where we need to be,” said Deegan. “My goal this year is to win a championship and our team here at BMR is ready and capable of accomplishing that.”

The 2019 BMR NASCAR K&N Pro Series West lineup consists of Deegan, fellow Toyota Racing development driver Brittney Zamora, and third-year driver Derek Kraus, also part of the most recent NASCAR Next class. Each driver will compete in select NASCAR K&N Pro Series East events in 2019.
BMR has won a record eight series championships, as well as capturing 90 overall victories between the East and West divisions of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series.
