Talladega Superspeedway officials announced today that MoneyLion, America’s most powerful financial membership, has partnered with the iconic 2.66-mile venue and will serve as the entitlement sponsor of the MoneyLion 300Xfinity Series event on Saturday, April 27, 2019.

The MoneyLion 300 will see roaring speeds of 190-plus miles per hour on the biggest and baddest track on the planet, which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this season as well as the Transformation Infield Project. Talladega Superspeedway, NASCAR’s Most Competitive track, has hosted the Xfinity Series since 1992 and has provided some of the closest finishes in the sport’s history, including Terry Labonte’s win in 1999 by .002 second. This year’s event will again be a part of the special Xfinity Series’ Dash 4 Cash bonus-money program for Xfinity Series regular drivers.

“We’re thrilled to take a huge step in our commitment to the sport by partnering with Talladega Superspeedway to bring MoneyLion members and fans experiences money can’t buy,” said Dee Choubey, CEO and co-founder of MoneyLion. “One of MoneyLion’s biggest goals is to make the race experience more accessible and even more rewarding. Our partnership with Talladega Superspeedway provides an incredible opportunity to showcase some of MoneyLion’s most innovative offerings and opportunities.”

As part of MoneyLion’s partnership announcement with Team Penske last September, the organization promised a deeper commitment to NASCAR race fans. In 2019, MoneyLion will offer fans unparalleled access to the sport by providing MoneyLion members 5% cash back on up to $2,000 in annual purchases of NASCAR tickets from authorized ticket sellers, at-track purchases from official vendors and all purchases at NASCAR.com. Additionally, throughout the Talladega race weekend, MoneyLion will provide fans the opportunity to enjoy the “Ultimate Talladega Experience,” exclusive on-track interactions and unforgettable experiences.

Launched in 2013, MoneyLion is disrupting the traditional banking model by creating new tools for Americans to manage their finances and achieve their dreams. Through the partnership with Team Penske, MoneyLion has brought the most advanced and innovative online and mobile financial tools to race fans. This season, Austin Cindric, who finished eighth in the 2018 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship standings, will pilot the No. 22 MoneyLion Ford Mustang in 18 Xfinity Series races, including theMoneyLion 300. Beyond MoneyLion’s sponsorship of Cindric in 2019, MoneyLion will also serve as a primary sponsor for Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

“We are ecstatic that MoneyLion will join our team here at Talladega, especially during our 50th Anniversary, for the MoneyLion 300,” said Talladega track Chairman Grant Lynch. “We have the most loyal and dedicated fans in sports and our platform will offer MoneyLion an incredible opportunity to connect with them. We have had a great history at Talladega, and with Transformation on the horizon, our future is bright. We are thrilled to have MoneyLion be a part of our continued growth.”

As part of Transformation – The Talladega Superspeedway Infield Project, the new Turn 3 Oversized Vehicle Tunnel as well as the new Finish Line Premium RV area (located just past the start-finish line & includes full hookups) and new Infield Shower Trailers are scheduled for completion in time for the MoneyLion 300. The culmination of Transformation, which will feature “up-close” access, interactive attractions and enhanced amenities, will occur in October.
