Sugarfire’s 2018 Sandwich World Championship winner to be served at Gateway Motorsports Park’s NASCAR and INDYCAR races in 2019

It seems just about every speedway in America has its own signature sandwich or specialty dish – but ours is the best. And that’s not just our opinion.

Chef David Molina of Sugarfire Smoke House in St. Louis won the top prize of $10,000 at the Sandwich World Championship last week. The culinary tournament was held Orange Beach, Alabama, as part of the 2018 World Food Championship.

The winning entry was Molina’s Cuban Reuben — smoked ham, mustard, pulled pork, pastrami, Swiss cheese and pickles – nestled in between two sourdough grilled provolone and white American cheese sandwiches.

Sugarfire Smoke House (https://sugarfiresmokehouse.com/) is the Official Barbeque of Gateway Motorsports Park and plans to offer its championship-winning Cuban Reubens to GMP race fans at the 2019 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series 200 in June and the INDYCAR Series’ Bommarito Automotive Group 500 in August.
