SS Greenlight Racing will bring chassis 704 to Texas Motor Speedway. Spencer Boyd ran this chassis previously at Kansas Speedway and finished in the 19th position. The result marked Boyd’s best career finish outside of Daytona in July.
News and notes: The NASCAR Xfinity Series will return to racing action this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway after enjoying their final off-week of the 2018 season. With only three races remaining, Spencer Boyd and his Grunt Style Gladiators are ready to close out their rookie campaign strong, starting in Texas. “I can’t believe it’s already that time of year,” says Boyd. “The season has just flown by. It feels like yesterday when we were getting ready to head to Daytona! I’ve learned so much this year and now my focus is just to finish as strong as I possibly can. We ran well at Texas earlier this year, so I’m looking forward to duplicating our performance there.”
