SS Greenlight Racing will bring chassis 704 to Kansas Speedway. Spencer Boyd ran this chassis previously at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and finished in the 22nd position.
News and notes: After a much needed off weekend Spencer Boyd and his Grunt Style Chevrolet Camaro Team will resume racing action this weekend at Kansas Speedway. Growing up in St. Louis, MO, Kansas will be a home coming race for Boyd. “I really enjoyed a bit of downtime this past weekend, but I’m ready to be back at the race track,” says Boyd. “Since the Xfinity Series doesn’t go to Gateway, Kansas is sort of considered my home track. We’re going to have a lot of family, friends, and sponsors out at the track this weekend. Some might say it’s more pressure, but for me it just gives me more motivation to go out there and have a good showing for everyone that supports us.”
SS Greenlight Racing would like to welcome back familiar associate sponsors: Fort Scott Munitions, RV General Store, and Kickass Beef Jerky for The Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway. Based in Kansas, Fort Scott Munitions is a United States manufacturer and distributor of lead-free rifle and handgun ammunition. RV General Store prides themselves on providing small store service with super store benefits and boasts the only RV Warranty Forever program in Oklahoma. Kickass Beef Jerky is encouraging those to participate in their Reaper stick challenge that benefits the TAPS Organization.
TV/Radio: The Kansas Lottery 300 from Kansas Speedway can be seen live on Saturday, October 20th on NBC. Race coverage will begin at 3:00 p.m. EST, and the event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Radio, channel 90.
