Max Tullman returns to Truck Series with Young’s Motorsports at Talladega

Continuing to enhance his learning curve in his transition to NASCAR, Sports Car standout Max Tullman (@MaxTullman) returns to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) for Saturday afternoon’s Fr8Auctions 250 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway with Young’s Motorsports.

One of three entries for the Mooresville, N.C.-based team, Tullman returns to the 2.66-mile superspeedway aboard the No. 20 Yurpal.comChevrolet Silverado hoping to earn his first career top 10 in one of NASCAR’s top national divisions.
“I’m very thankful to have this opportunity to race at Talladega this weekend,” said Tullman, who finished sixth in the ARCA Racing Series race at Talladega in April.
“I appreciate the hard work and effort from the Young’s Motorsports team preparing the number 20 for the race.
I’m eager to get there and see what we can put together.”
For his third career Truck Series race, the team again welcomes Yurpal.com who has increased their commitment from the ARCA Series to NASCAR’s top-three stage.
Yurpal.com is the first and only online marketing place for the construction and building materials industry.
With Yurpal, you can quickly find the building materials and products you need, find local vendors, find local professionals, manage your customers, manage your sales volume, manage your deliveries and more from one easy-to-use platform.
With the release of their new features, Yurpal has created an all-inclusive digital community for the construction industry. And best of all, it’s FREE!
Yurpal.com CEO Jon De Langis is enthusiastic about his company’s foray with Tullman and their return to Talladega.
“Talladega is the perfect venue to continue to promote our new platform and expand our relationship with Max for a Truck Series race at Talladega,” De Langis said. “We’ve seen great results with our relaunch and we believe that we can continue that upward trend with some exposure and a good finish on Saturday afternoon.”
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Tullman’s No. 20 Chevrolet Silverado will support a pink-paint scheme – while offering the opportunity for cancer survivors to sign the hood of Tullman’s truck throughout the weekend at Talladega.
“Every October I look for ways to promote Breast Cancer Awareness month to the best of my ability and thanks to Jon and everyone at Yurpal.com, they’ve allowed us to do a cool paint scheme and allow all survivors of cancer to sign the truck prior to taking on the track. It’s a neat deal.”
Tullman and Young’s Motorsports will also use the 19th race of the Truck Series season to raise funds for Tullman’s Xfinity Series crew chief’s wife Robin Richert. She is the wife of longtime NASCAR crew chief Doug Richert was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer.
Robin’s Go Fund Me page will be displayed on the television panel of Tullman’s No. 20 Chevrolet where members of the racing community or fans can contribute their financial support by visiting their donation page.
“Robin is a very special and caring person. We are all wishing her a successful and speedy recovery,” sounded Tullman.
Tullman has high hopes for Talladega after he competed in the ARCA Racing Series event earlier this year with Mason Mitchell Motorsports in the No. 78 Yurpal.comChevrolet where he qualified fifth, led five laps and finished a career-best sixth.
With the guidance of spotter Jason Jarrett, Tullman is hoping for a smooth Truck Series restrictor plate debut.
“I know that Saturday is going to be a lot harder than the ARCA race,” Tullman explained. “I also know that the Truck Series is at the beginning of their Playoffs and Saturday’s race is a cutoff race. I don’t plan to have an impact on the Playoffs, but we’re going to run our race and hope when the checkered flag nears, we’re at the front contending for a strong finish in my last Truck Series race of the season.”
Following Talladega, Tullman will close out his 2018 season at Kansas Speedway where he’ll return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series with his Tullman Walker Racing team for the Oct. 20 running of the Kansas Lottery 300.
With Young’s Motorsports, the Chester Springs, Pa. native has two prior starts at Chicagoland Speedway and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park respectively with a best result of 23rd in Joliet, Ill. in June.
