Rev Up Your Wardrobe and Racing Experience with Talladega Superspeedway’s Fanatics, Fan Zone Oct. 12-14

Fans can crank up their racing swag to express their passion for their favorite drivers and track by making a pit stop at one of more than a dozen Fanatics mobile trailers that will be located in Talladega Superspeedway’s Fan Zone during the track’s doubleheader NASCAR Playoff weekend, Oct. 12-14.

Fanatics is the largest retailer for officially licensed sports merchandise, offering an abundant product selection that includes hundreds of items featuring most NASCAR drivers and commodities specific to Talladega Superspeedway.

The Fanatics mobile trailers are only one part of the lively Talladega Fan Zone, which provides an array of exciting activities ranging from music to interactive exhibits that spotlight some of NASCAR’s loyal brands. The Fan Zone will be accessible all three days, which will be headlined by qualifying for the Talladega 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) event (Friday, Oct. 12), the Talladega 250 NCWTS Playoff race (Saturday, Oct. 13) along with Foodland/Food Giant Qualifying for the pivotal 1000Bulbs.com 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) Playoff race, which will get the green flag on Sunday, Oct. 14.

The action of the Fan Zone, which is scheduled to open on Friday at 9 a.m. till the start of NCWTS qualifying and Saturday/Sunday at 8 a.m. CDT till the drop of the green flag for both events, can be found outside the frontstretch near Turn 4. Fans can get their hands on the latest gear and show pride for a wide variety of drivers, including champions like Jimmie Johnson, Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick, Martin Truex Jr. and Kyle Busch as well as the “young guns” of Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, Ryan Blaney, Erik Jones, William Byron and Alabama’s own Bubba Wallace.

With so many ways to engage with the NASCAR community in the Fan Zone, fans are free to stroll the area and stock up on everything they need to be ready for the ultimate race day experience, including a headset radio from Racing Electronics where fans can listen to teams and drivers communicate throughout the weekend. More than 25 companies will be onsite and equipped with captivating displays, including racing simulators, a pit stop challenge, selfie stations, show cars and chances to win awesome prizes. Talladega Superspeedway’s doubleheader NASCAR Playoff weekend kicks off on Friday with qualifying for the Talladega 250 at 4:35 p.m. CDT. Saturday’s slate includes the running for the Talladega 250 at noon CDT followed by Foodland/Food Giant Qualifying for the 1000Bulbs.com 500 at 3:35 p.m. CDT. Sunday will showcase some of the world’s best drivers dueling it out in the 1000Bulbs.com 500 NASCAR Playoff race, the second (of three) in the Round of 12, where the green flag will wave at 1 p.m. CDT.
