Spencer Boyd No. 76 Grunt Style Chevrolet Camaro Race Preview Overton’s 300 – Chicagoland Speedway

SS Greenlight Racing will bring chassis 703 to Chicagoland Speedway this weekend for Spencer Boyd. Boyd previously ran this chassis at Charlotte Motor Speedway, where he posted his career best finish of 21st.

News and notes: After a weekend off from racing action, the team sets it’s sights on the 1.5 mile – oval of Chicagoland Speedway. This weekend begins the summer stretch for the Xfinity Series of 15 races in a row. “I enjoyed having a little down time this past weekend, but I’m ready to get back to the track,” says Boyd. “I always have a little bit of extra motivation when it comes to Chicagoland. This is Grunt Style’s headquarters as well as Bobby’s home track, so I know we are going to have a lot of people out there supporting us on Saturday. Hopefully we can go out there and have a good showing for everybody.”

Sponsor Highlights:
The team would like to welcome new associate sponsors Performance Trailer Braking and Patriot-Pin on board for Chicagoland Speedway this weekend. Performance Trailer Braking was founded in 2013 by Ronald Russell, but was taken over in October of 2017 by the Barnett family. Since taking over, the Barnett family has worked tirelessly to uphold Performance Trailer Braking’s standards of expertise and customer support and do their best to make sure every customer is treated like they would want to be treated. The Patriot Pin is the fastest takedown pin removal system available. Combined with a magazine locking device like the AR MagLock, it is the fastest way to reload in states requiring a “fixed” magazine. Patriot-Pin is 100% engineered and made in the USA.

TV/Radio: The Overton’s 300 at Chicagoland Speedway  Speedway can be seen live on Saturday, June 30th on NBCSN. Race coverage will begin at 3:30 p.m. EST, and the event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Radio, channel 90.
