Friday Night Will Turn Up The Heat

Competitors area coming off another wild Friday night at the famed, “Concrete Jungle.”

A red flag paused the action for over an hour, during the LMSC race. However once power was restored, LMSC driver Robbie Ferguson held off 2017 track champion, Kres Vandyke to capture his first victory of the 2018 season.

Kirby Gobble picked up the win in Mod Street division.

Kevin Canter grabbed the Mod 4 win and currently leads the track points in that division.

Keith Helton captured his third win of the season in Pure 4 division.

David Strong logged a second straight win in Pure Street class.

Friday’s action will feature races in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Modified 4 division.  LMSC, Pure 4, Mod Street, Pure Street, and the Vintage class is makes its return again this season.

Friday Night Heat is scheduled for Friday, June 29. Grandstands will open at 5 p.m. and racing will begin at 8 p.m.

The Kingsport Speedway Little Racers Club will be the Speedway office on A-Side with fun activities.

Adult admission is $10 and children 12-and-under are admitted free. Tier parking along Turns 3 and 4 is available for $10 per vehicle plus admission.
