Ross Chastain added another solid finish to his impressive 2018 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, finishing in 19th place in the Iowa 250 presented by Enogen at Iowa Speedway.

Chastain started the weekend off strong by qualifying in 16th place in the No. 4 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet Camaro.

“I started off really fast in the first stage of the race,” said Chastain. “We were able to make passes and run with the top group of cars, but the car got really tight as the race went on. Then the car got some damage later in the race while I was trying to avoid a wreck. Although it’s not the finish we’d hoped for, I’m very proud of my guys for working hard all day to keep the car competitive.”

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will take a one-week break before heading to Chicagoland Speedway for the Overton’s 300 on June 30th, 2018.
