Spencer Boyd and his Grunt Style Chevrolet Camaro Team will head to the The Hawkeye State, Iowa, for racing action this weekend. With the Monster Energy Cup Series off this weekend, the Xfinity Series will be the main event on Sunday. This will be Boyd’s second time competing at the 7/8-mile oval of Iowa. “It’s always exciting when you can go back to a track for the second time,” says Boyd. “In 2016 I made my first career Xfinity Series start here with Rick Ware, so this place will always hold a special place in my heart. The runs we have been able to put together as a team lately have everyone in the shop feeling confident, which is what you want heading into a race weekend. We’re going to be racing on Father’s Day this Sunday, so I really want to go out there and get a great finish for my dad.”
The team would like to welcome back on board associate sponsors this weekend; RV General Store and Kickass Beef Jerky. In addition, the team would like to welcome new associate sponsor, QVR Safe.com. RV General Store prides themselves on providing small store service with super store benefits and boasts the only RV Warranty Forever program in Oklahoma. They also serve as the official sponsor of “Cruisin’ the Campground.” Kickass Beef Jerky is a family owned premium beef jerky and snack company providing un-paralleled quality and service. Using family recipes from many generations their flavors are matched by no other. Kickass products are made in the US and are made only using top quality ingredients. QVR Safe.com is committed to forging their own path and offers their clients products that are both designed extremely well and of the highest caliber. Unlike traditional box-type gun safes, which are always out of reach when located in a basement or garage, the QVR is always accessible.
TV/Radio: The Iowa 250 presented by Enogen from Iowa Speedway can be seen live on Sunday, June 17th on FS1. Race coverage will begin at 5:00 p.m. EST, and the event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Radio, channel 90.
