Rookie driver Vinnie Miller, driving the No. 01 JAS Expedited Trucking Chevrolet Camaro, came home in the 31stposition in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS).
In his first ever race at AMS, Miller qualified 39th but was able to race as high as the top 20 during the Rinnai 250.
“I can’t thank JAS Expedited Trucking enough for coming on board with this JD Motorsports with Gary Keller team,” said Miller. “Atlanta is definitely a tough track where tires were an issue. We didn’t qualify where we had hoped, but we were able to advance to the top-20 in the first stage but had some issues on pit strategy and cautions that put us in the 31st place for the finish. The guys on the No. 01 team never gave up and I know we will have a strong car in Las Vegas. I just need to continue to learn and grow each week.”
Next up for the NASCAR Xfinity Series is the Boyd Gaming 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 3rd, 2018.
